This book is either made for me or patterned to my life; neither is possible but it feels like it. I never screwed things up the way the lead character did, but a lot of aspects in her life and personality reflects to my own. Particularly, the part which concerns being too guarded, up tight and a goody two-shoes. My lack of belief in myself is another one. I know all these things about me are true because even my friends have been telling me and pushing to me to put my guard down and loosen up a little. But, it’s hard to change when you’ve already spent most of your ‘already in the right mind to think’ stage with those traits. Plus, diving into the uncertainty of changes could be a kill.

All in all, it is a very interesting book. Some scenes were quite expected, but you’ll definitely get hooked. I also love the fact that the places, things, and personalities of each character in the story are very realistic. Emily Giffin made a story about people and instances that you would encounter everyday, thus makes it easier to relate to. :)
